Account Deletion

Effective Date: September 1, 2026 · Last Updated: September 10, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your WiredPB account and associated personal information, what is deleted, and what may be retained. It applies to the WiredPB mobile app (com.wiredpb.app) and the WiredPB website and services operated by WiredPB LLC.

How to request deletion

Delete your account yourself, right here. Sign in to confirm your identity, then confirm the deletion — it takes effect immediately.

Sign in to confirm your identity.

Deleting your account permanently removes your WiredPB account and associated personal data, except information we are legally required to retain. To protect against unauthorized deletion, sign in first — you’ll come back here to finish.

or with email

If you are the only administrator of an organization, add another administrator first, or email support@wiredpb.com and we will close the organization for you.

You can also request deletion by email: write to support@wiredpb.com from the email address on your WiredPB account with the subject line “Account deletion request.” If you can, tell us your name and the team or organization you belong to so we can locate your account. We may need to verify your identity — for example, by confirming control of the account email address — before acting on an emailed request, to protect against unauthorized deletion.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify the personal information associated with it, including:

  • Your name, email address, username or display name, and profile photo
  • Authentication information tied to your account
  • Profile details you added (position, division, biography, availability, and similar fields)
  • Phone number, if provided
  • Push notification tokens for your devices
  • Your availability, travel willingness, and other free-agent details
  • Your personal free-agent or public profile, if you published one (it is unpublished and cleared)

Records that a team or organization controls — including your RSVPs, roster history, and attendance — stay with that organization, with your identifying information removed. See “What may be retained” below.

Chat messages you sent may be deleted or have your identity removed so the remaining conversation stays readable to your team.

What may be retained

Some information is kept when reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes, or because a team or organization independently controls it:

  • Financial and transaction records (payments, charges, refunds, and related identifiers) are retained as required for accounting, tax, and audit obligations.
  • Records controlled by a team or organization — such as historical roster, attendance, or event records — may be retained by that team or organization. Where appropriate, your identifying information is removed or de-identified from those records. For information a team or organization controls, you may also need to contact that organization directly.
  • Audit and security logs needed to protect the service.
  • Backups may retain information for a limited period before they are overwritten or deleted on a rolling basis.
  • De-identified or aggregated data that can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

Timing

When you delete your account on this page, it takes effect immediately and we email a confirmation to the address that was on the account. Emailed requests are completed within 30 days. In both cases, information described under “What may be retained” is kept, and copies may persist in backups for a limited period before they are overwritten on a rolling basis.
